Search Me

The Lord tells us He is our Wonderful Counselor and Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).  Who better to ask than Him to search our hearts and thoughts and change them to ones that reflect Life and Truth?  We often don't even realize the things that hold us captive, let alone feel we have the power to change them, but He does and He wants to set us free (Isaiah 61:1)! That is good news!

Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.

See if there is any offensive way in me,

and lead me in the way everlasting.
