Here’s a little bit about me: I have a degree in Child Psychology from the University of Minnesota. I have worn many hats over the years and have enjoyed the journey God has taken me on. I’ve worked as an Early Childhood teacher, worked in sales, and spent many years working in the church, leading Women’s Ministry, Bible Study; and served as Coordinator, and later as Teaching Leader for MOPS groups in the Twin Cities.

As a mom, the best of me has been given to teaching and shaping the lives of my own children. In the busy years of motherhood, I home-schooled them when that was best, and sent them to school when that was the better choice. Raising a diverse family of both birth and adopted children, while struggling with chronic health issues, has stretched me in ways that I didn’t know I could stretch. In those days of “It’s too much”, I found it wasn’t, because God never left my side. He shaped the person I am today, and continues to do so as I trust Him to provide all I need. “Life is Good”, but it’s also hard. Being grounded in faith is the only way to experience victory.

Apollos is a great place for me to be. I love to dig deep, seek truth, and love on people by listening and teaching. I hope you’ll take a chance and step out of the status quo. Be courageous enough to let iron sharpen iron. Yes, it may scrape and burn a little. But, the joy of the journey will change your life!

Psalm 138:8

The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me; Your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of Your hands.

Psalm 139:17-18

How precious to me, are Your thoughts, oh, God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I Awake, and I am still with you.
